Insomma pur volendo non possono reggere i ritmi dei compagni, andrebbero in depressione si sentirebbero diversi.
E i bambini disabili?
Eh costano, sa' hanno bisogno del sostegno, di attenzioni in più…
Ma infatti, non siamo noi che siamo razzisti, classisti, discriminatori, sono loro che sono negri, handicappati, poveracci.
Penso a mia madre che negli anni ’70 da insegnante di lettere a Ladispoli andava a “riacchiappare” i ragazzi (italianissimi) presso le case di villeggiatura vuote nelle quali si erano introdotti per rubare.
Ricordo i suoi anni di insegnamento a Centocelle e le situazioni diffuse di disperazione e abbrutimento dove la scuola era un'oasi di ascolto, aiuto e conoscenza. La vedo nei campi nomadi a convincere (ancora quest’anno ormai da pensionata e volontaria totale) le famiglie a mandare con continuità i ragazzi a scuola, facendogli finanche lezioni di recupero nello stesso campo.
Spero che non veda la trasmissione.
Le scuole pubbliche di Enna, di Messina, lasciate in rovina (strutture pericolanti, zone sismiche e fondi inesistenti), lasciate alla buona volontà degli insegnanti e ai contributi volontari dei genitori.
Umiliando i docenti, umiliando le famiglie.
Spero che mia madre non veda.
Non veda la “mala educacion” degli istituti privati, pieni di ore di danza, computer, lingue, musiche, teatro, vuote di Insegnamento alla vita, agli altri. Competitorifici fini a se stessi che alle materne pensano alla carriera del neonato piuttosto che alla sua formazione alla vita, alla conoscenza,alla curiosità.
Spero che mia madre non veda.
Paradossalmente in rovina tutte e due: la scuola pubblica (col mercato dei precari ridotti a bestie) e quella “parificata”, nella completa mancanza di prospettiva di progetto formativo, di conoscenze diffuse e quanto più condivise, di Futuro.
Parlate di meritocrazia. Voi che non sapete, che non vi importa, ideologhi del nulla siliconato di slogan, voi che non conoscete, che non sapete neanche fare. L’umiliazione del concetto stesso di Scuola, di Educazione.
Di Futuro. L’ignoranza del proprio giardinetto, la miopia del proprio villino fresco di catrame e cani da guardia.
Chi resta indietro?
Zavorre, sempre più zavorre. Come prevedibile si dice immigrato, rumeno, albanese, negro, ma si pensa già ai poveri (sempre di più) ed eccoci ai disabili. Ci siamo. Un giorno toccherà a tuo figlio, tuo nipote, magari perché è “meglio che vada a lavorare”. Risulta dal test.
Spero che mia madre non veda. Invece ha visto e dall’altro capo del telefono ripete, ossessiva, l’articolo 3 della Costituzione, le pari opportunità. Pari opportunità negate persino a chi nelle scuole parificate volesse sedersi su un prato insieme ai suoi alunni, solo per sentire e capire l’erba, non solo per il corso, chessò, di golf. Iacona non le fare più ‘ste trasmissioni, sono inutili quanto chi parla ancora di educazione.

Nessuno potrebbe affermare che oggi si possa fare a meno di una crescita rapida e diffusa della conoscenza scientifica, non solo per i valori di spirito critico, libertà di opinione, rispetto della razionalità che essa porta con sé, but also for the implications in terms of welfare, economic opportunity, dignity at the international level that follow from it.
